As of May 24, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been established as of yet. Loudoun County Sanitation Authority (DBA Loudoun Water), the Owner, invites qualified contractors to submit sealed Bids for the aforementioned project. The procurement process and the performance of the Contract shall be governed by the provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: the construction of a 416 gpm pump station. This construction includes a new pump station with a wet well configuration, construction of an emergency storage tank, the decommissioning and demolition of the existing wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), site work, gravity sewer upsizing, construction and connection and force main connection on-site Goose Creek Industrial Park Sewage Force Main: The construction of approximately 11,400 LF of 8-inch HDPE force main. Construction includes force main appurtenances and vault structures, gravity discharge manhole, downstream gravity sewer and associated site work.
