Description | Proposals shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, permits, and transportation for the proper and complete performance of all Work described in the Contract Documents at the following location: Community Supports Building 1921 East Gypsy Lane Road Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid or a Certified Check in the sum of 10% of the proposal amount. Bids shall be received in the Form of Proposal furnished in the Project Manual. No other form will be accepted. The Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or parts of any or all proposals and to waive any informality in the bids received. addendum and will become a part of the contract documents. Oral clarifications by the Owner or Architect will not be binding. DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. Work Included: 1. Demolition and removal of selected interior portions of the building as required for new work. Refer to the Drawings for additional requirements. 2. Salvage of existing items to be reused or turned over to the facility. 3. Removal and legal disposal of demolished materials off site. Except those items specifically designated to be relocated, reused, or turned over to the facility, all existing removed materials, items, trash and debris shall become property of the Contractor and shall be completely removed from the site and legally disposed of at her/his expense. Salvage value belongs to the Contractor. On-site sale of materials is not permitted. 4. Demolition and removal work shall properly prepare for alteration work and new construction to be provided under the Contract. 5. Scheduling and sequencing operations without interruption to utilities serving occupied areas. If interruption is required, obtain written permission from the utility company and the Owner. Provide temporary services as necessary to serve occupied and usable facilities when permanent utilities must be interrupted, or schedule interruption when the least amount of inconvenience will result. Helms & Sons Excavating Inc is requesting their bids by the end of the day March 27, 2023. |
