Taylor Run Wastewater Treatment Plant Tertiary Filtration System Project - Electrical Work

The project consists of two (2) contracts to construct a tertiary filtration system at Taylor Run WWTP. Contract No. TRWWTP 2021-1-C/M generally covers civil and mechanical work in items 1 thru 12. Contract No. TRWWTP 2021-1-E generally covers electrical work in item 13. 1. Site work, E&S Control measures, fencing, excavation and backfill. 2. Three (3) new disk filters in the existing Chemical Building (B-6), complete with sludge wasting valves, backwash/reject water pumps, connecting piping and valves, control panels, and other accessories as specified or indicated on the Drawings, and required for a complete, satisfactory system. 3. A precast concrete vault consists of Filter Feed Pumping Station, concrete baffle (compartment wall), and Filtered Effluent Chamber, complete with gooseneck, vents with insect screen, concrete/grout corner fillets, sumps, antiflotation collars (if needed), aluminum access hatches with drains, access ladders, boots/sleeves/linkseal for pipes, diffusers and other accessories. 4. Three (3) new variable speed submersible filter feed pumps and a control panel that houses three (3) VFDs, complete with discharge elbows, all lifting devices (hoists, crane, cables, hooks and sockets), guiderails, brackets, cables, level transmitters and level switches. 5. Yard piping, restrains, concrete thrust blocks; flanged piping, three (3) magnetic flow meters and supports. 6. Building modifications to remove chlorine ton cylinder supports and related equipment, enclose the loading dock with masonry walls, swing handrail for protection, insulated doors and windows. 7. Heating and ventilation equipment 8. Painting. 9. Signs, labels and markers. 10. Modify weir plates in existing chlorine contact tanks. 11. Bypass pumping with pump and flow control. 12. Restoration. 13. All associated electrical work to furnish and install conduits, wiring, connections, electrical components and lighting, interlocks in the existing motor control center (MCC); and install the conduits, wiring, connections and interconnections for Civil/Mechanical Contractor supplied control panels, field mounted instruments (autodialer, level transmitter, level switches and flowmeters, etc.), heaters and ventilator, etc.
