| Description | The Contractor shall provide non-personal services including all management, supervision, transportation, tools, rentals, and labor necessary to maintain Giant Voice: The BAFB Giant Voice System includes a Weather Warn/Rapid Warning Computer Operating System, and a (unknown brand) VHF two-way radio located in building 1030 Buckley Installation Control Center (primary BICC), a Weather Warn/Rapid Warning Computer Operating System, and a Motorola VHF two-way radio located in building 429 (alternate BICC), and one Giant Voice UHF omni-directional antenna located on each respective roof. BAFB system also includes six Giant Voice towers: four towers include Whelen WPS-2900 Type II Cabinets with 3 to 5 cell heads (mixed solar/AC power), one with a Whelen WPS-2800 Type II Cabinet with 3 cell head (solar), and one with a Whelen WPS-2900 Type II Cabinet with 2 WPS4004 heads (solar). 1.4.2 The Contractor shall maintain Giant Voice System so that it operates within manufacturer specifications and broadcasts the emergency tones/warnings, voice announcements, noon test and music (Reveille, Retreat/National Anthem, and Taps) throughout Buckley Air Force Base. |
