Description | Plans call for the demolition of an existing structure and the construction of a gas station/convenience store. As of April 17, 2023, a general contractor has been selected. The owner requests no email or phone inquiries. Question Can you please provide additional information on the type/size of existing tanks and petroleum piping layout so we can accurately price removal of this system Answer Yes, Asbuilt (attached) from 2004 provided indicates the two existing 20,000 gallon tanks (Steel tanks) and provides the location. Exact product piping layout is not available. However, it was standard to run product piping between the tank and canopy and parallel to the canopy to the furthest dispenser. Attachment: BELVIDERE IL-RS AS-BUILT.pdf Revisions to Tank Plans 02-Mar-2023 03:00 PM CST We have updated the tank plans to the latest Tank and Piping Murphy Standards (i.e. EVO vs VEEDER Root, Canopy conduits for sign vendor, etc.). All revisions are clouded for Fuel Contractor to evaluate. ***Please note - Dimension between the tanks changed from 2' to 2.4ft. Shown on detail 3 of sheet F2 I have extended the Bid Deadline 1 week to 3/2/2023 at 3pm CST to evaluate and adjust bids. If you have any questions please submit using the Q & A Tab in Projectmates. Gaven Ballinger By: Gaven Ballinger at 16-Feb-2023 03:45 PM CST Question Please confirm that we should figure spoils hauloff as "Clean" spoils hauloff, and if soil testing consultant deems the soil as contaminated, Murphy USA would handle additional costs of contaminated hauloff. Answer The exact instructions can be found in the FUEL TANK REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL SCOPE OF WORK.pdf located in the bid documents but to address your question specifically we ask in the bid form (Section 3) to provide a unit price for handling of 600 tons of impacted soils with an add and deduct line item. This is to be used if you encounter impacted soils to cover all handling fees. By: Gaven Ballinger at 16-Feb-2023 03:46 PM CST Question During the bid call, it was mentioned that you would upload the estimate cost savings sheet mentioned by the Enterprise Zone. Where will that be Answer Please see attached to this question.
