| Description | Scope: The Arizona Broadband Development Grant (ABDG) is a competitive grant program designed to help Arizona communities establish and accelerate the enhancement of broadband infrastructure that strengthens their capacity and competitiveness for economic growth and thereby ultimately improves economic conditions and quality of life in rural and urban Arizona. It is the Town’s intention to apply for this grant by the deadline application in January 2022, and identify private sector broadband providers who are willing, able and enthusiastic about partnering with the Town in the expansion of broadband service in the Oro Valley Community should the Town be chosen for a grant from the State of Arizona. Through this RFP process, the Town will make a determination as to which providers it will partner with should the Town receive an ABDG Grant. |
