Description

Scope of Work: The selected Electrical Contractor must demonstrate experience providing construction services for the following scope of work: The project will replace the existing electrical and main distribution with new equipment. Program elements include but are not limited to (4) new electrical transformers, new feeders, new switchgear, landscape enclosure, pavement resurfacing and replacing the existing ramp entrance to facilitate excavation. The project will also include a "storm switch" connection for a temporary power generator feed that enables continued operation during scheduled and unforeseen power outages. The new connections and redundant power will ensure research is not at risk from power outages. New equipment will be located next to Engineering II Building and will include improvements to Engineering II electrical service as well.
