Description | The FM Broadcast Transmission system(s) shall consist of solid-state air-cooled FM broadcast transmission equipment operating on 90.9 mHz (station channel 215) and related components to fulfill the needs of two separate but related transmission sites: a Main transmission site and an Auxiliary transmission site. Both system sites shall provide Ibquity (IBOC) HD Radio transmission capability (-14 dB hybrid mode) and meet and fulfill requirements of granted Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Construction Permits (CP) and/or station licensees. All FM broadcast transmission equipment shall be certified for compliance with FCC Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) title 47-part2 and parts 73.1660, 73.1665, and 73.1670 of the commission’s rules and regulations. If any equivalent items are included in the bid response, detailed technical specifications must be submitted and the bidder must show detailed calculation of the Transmitter Power Output (TPO) and the transmission line / antenna system gain / loss meeting the Federal Communications Commission licensed Effective Radiated Power (ERP) being achieved, but not exceeded. |
