Description | The project consists of construction of removal of existing asphalt pavement, installation of new asphalt pavement, concrete curb repair, pavement sealing, crack sealing, and pavement marking. Danville Public Building Commission is Inviting Sealed Bid Proposals From Interested and Qualified Parties for Parking Lot Rehabilitation Phase 1, Located at 2 South Street, Danville, Illinois61832. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five (5)% percent of the bid amount. No bids may be with-drawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. A performance bond, separate labor and material payment bond, and insur-ance in a form acceptable to owner will be required of the successful bidder. The owner requires all contractors and vendors doing business with the owner not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, non job-related handicaps or national origin. Danville public building commission reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding. After receipt of bids and completion of the review process, danville public building commission may award a contract to the bidder that, in its opinion, will provide a combination of the best services and reasonable cost. Successful bidders shall be required to observe the fair employment practices commission rules pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and comply with the illinois prevailing wage act, 820 ilcs 130/1 et seq.., and use wage determination as determined by the illinois department of labor, conciliation, and mediation division dated 04/16/2010. These wages will remain in effect until superseded by a new determination. Bids will be held good for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of bids. |
