The Old Palm City Septic-to-Sewer Conversion project will convert onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems (Septic Sewer) to a consolidated vacuum sewer system (VSS) with an estimated 1,029 connections. The project is part of the overall Martin County Connect-to-Protect septic to sewer conversion program that aims to improve the health, environmental sustainability, and water quality of the local communities and water bodies within the Martin County Utilities (MCU) service area. This project also includes the concurrent connection of 377 parcels to MCU water service to provide metering to the newly connected sewer services. |
