Description | The Work to be performed under this Contract consists of construction of a new 32-foot span precast prestressed concrete slab bridge over Central Oregon Irrigation District's Central Oregon Canal in Crook County, located on Weigand Road. The bridge is located south of Powell Butte Road between Redmond and Prineville, Oregon, approximately 9 miles southeast of Redmond. The Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of the existing bridge, installation of approximately 90 cubic yards of structural concrete, 230 feet of precast prestressed concrete slabs, 75 feet of two tube side-mount bridge rail, 150 feet of approach guardrail, 1,200 tons of aggregate base rock, 360 tons of asphalt concrete pavement, and other Work specified and/or shown on the Drawings. The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. This Project is being funded in part through the Oregon Department of Transportation State-Funded Local Project Program. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
