Description | The School District of Greenville County (District) invites interested firms to submit a SEALED PROPOSAL to provide a Professional Mechanical Design-Build Team (MDBT) to plan, design and build HVAC system replacements and improvements at Hillcrest High School in accordance with the requirements and terms and conditions of the solicitation. The Successful proposer is expected to assist the District in the planning, and phasing of the project and will be responsible for the completion of the project (including any and all permitting, approvals, etc.) utilizing the design build method of project delivery. The Program Specifications and the Scope of Work were developed and approved by the SDGC Construction Management/Facilities Department Questions or comments regarding this solicitation document or the process shall be forwarded, in writing, to Mr. Jeffrey S. Knotts, Director of Procurement and Ms. Tonya A. Stroud, Senior Buyer, 2 Space Drive, Taylors, South Carolina 29687. Email addresses are: jknotts@greenville.k12.sc.us and tstroud@greenville.k12.sc.us. Inquiries and comments shall be delivered to the Procurement Department no later than June 29, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. EDT. Verbal questions/comments shall not be addressed at any time. If the total amount of the awarded project exceeds fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), prior to work commencing, the successful Prime Contractor shall provide the SDGC Facilities Department Project Manager with Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract cost. The District reserves the right to reject any and all offers when such rejection is deemed to be in the best interest of the District. |
