Pre-Qualification for VDC Refrigeration Plant/Air System Replacement for the Cooler/Freezers and Roof Demolition and Repair

Work consists of replacement of the refrigeration plant and air system for the coolers and freezers and associated roof demolition and repair. The new refrigeration plant shall be skid mounted at the southwest comer of the building and shall be a package to include all piping and accessories within a metal enclosure all provided by the refrigeration plant manufacturer. Also included is the site work to accommodate the new refrigeration plant. New roof penetrations, new evaporators, and new enclosures (Krack houses) shall be constructed in vicinity of the existing locations. The evaporators and enclosures can be constructed off site and lifted into place when the roof openings are complete. All connecting refrigeration piping between the new refrigeration plant and the new evaporators shall be constructed. The existing enclosures and evaporators shall be demolished and the existing roof openings repaired after the new plant is placed in operation.
