Gotier Trace Road Culvert Improvement Project

Work covers two individual sites on Gotier Trace Road: Site 1 improvements include three (3) – 4’x3’ box culverts and approximately 415 linear feet of roadway profile changes with a maximum elevation increase of approximately 3.7 feet. To minimize roadway profile changes and offsite impacts, channel regrading is required. Channel Improvements include excavating the upstream side 0.55 feet and the downstream end 0.36 feet, extending downstream approximately 135 feet at a slope of 0.5%, tying into the existing channel. Site 2 improvements include three (3) – 4’x3’ box culverts and approximately 315 linear feet of roadway profile changes with a maximum elevation increase of approximately 2.9 feet. To minimize roadway profile changes and offsite impacts, channel improvements are required. Channel improvements include excavating the existing channel on the upstream end 0.35 feet. No channel regrading is needed downstream of the culverts; however, channel widening is required to accommodate the new culverts.
