BASE BID SCOPE OF WORK. The scope of the work shall include, but is not limited to the following: 1. Removal of existing PV modules, including racking system, anchoring feet, combiner boxes and wiring. Work includes storage of all materials on site for re-installation after new asphalt shingle roof is installed. 2. Removal of existing asphalt shingle roofing system down to existing wood deck. 3. Repair and replacement of saturated board insulation and rotted wood substrate as noted on contract drawings and specifications. 4. Removal of existing wood deck where indicated and installation of additional furring, and wood deck as indicated within the project documents. This is for roof venting purposes. 5. Installation underlayment and leak protection barrier, asphalt shingles and flashings at areas of existing asphalt shingles. 6. Reinstallation of PV module system including racking system, anchoring feet, combiner boxes and wiring. 7. Testing of PV module system. 8. Repairs to existing adjacent surfaces damaged through construction activities. 9. Other work as indicated within the contract documents. G. ALTERNATE BID SCOPE OF WORK. The scope of the work shall include, but is not limited to the following: 1. Scope of work remains the same, except removal of existing wood deck for venting purposes. Addition of furring, and installation of new plywood deck is NOT required. 2. In lieu of deck removal, new leak barrier and underlayment is to be installed over existing wood deck. Seams of existing wood deck are to be taped prior to installation of leak barrier and underlayment. The Bidder, or its sub-contractors, shall be classified by C072 - Roofing-Tile/Slate/Shingles, C066 - Roofing Membrane - EPDM, C035 - Solar Energy Systems, C047 - Electrical.
