Grundy County Courthouse Asbestos Remediation and Abatement

Vendors for the full removal of any remaining asbestos material from the Grundy County Courthouse. Sealed proposals must be submitted in an envelope and clearly marked on the exterior "Grundy County Courthouse Asbestos Removal" and contain four (4) copies of the complete proposal with one (1) original packet with an original signature. No responsibility or liability will be attached to any County official, employee or agent for the premature opening or failure to open any proposal not marked according to this instruction. Grundy County is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide all services for the complete abatement and disposal of asbestos containing materials located within the Grundy County Courthouse in the defined areas of the building as outlined in the following scope of work within this RFP document. The project will be awarded to the proposer who submits the best proposal in compliance with this RFP. This RFP is being issued under the authority of the Grundy County Board. The Grundy County Maintenance Department, along with the Grundy County Finance Department will oversee all aspects of the selection process, subject to review and approval of the Grundy County Board. The proposed project will require full compliance with all Federal, state, and local regulations. You are invited to submit a proposal that includes your qualifications and a work plan for completion of the stated project. The proposer remains responsible for obtaining all addenda, which will be posted at the same website. A proposal bond for 5% of the total proposal will be required. Proposals may not be withdrawn or revoked for a period of 90 days after submission. The County of Grundy reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technical errors or informalities in proposal. Chris Balkema County Board Chairman . i.
