| Description | Recycling containers must be single stream to include: cardboard, all paper items, plastics #1-7, aluminum and tin cans and glass. Provider will be responsible for clearly labeling the containers and dumpsters.The Provider will be required to clean up all debris spilled during the pick up process. The Provider shall record the quantity (tons or pounds) of waste picked up. This includes trash/rubbish, and recycled items. Data shall include waste type, quantity and location. Recycling types should be separated for reporting: glass, metal, plastic, paper and cardboard. If using a non-sorting recycling method, the data may be consolidated. Report for the 1st period in the current year is 1 October to 31 March due no later than 1 May and for the 2nd period 1 April to 30 September due no later than 1 November. Data may be submitted by transaction or by consolidation for the period. In the event that the Provider is unable to provide actual weights of materials collected then the Provider shall provide an estimate of yardage and weight pick up, to include an explanation for the estimated data. | ||
