Snow and Ice Removal Services - FY2020

To provide snow and ice removal services (Services) on an on-call, as needed basis for various areas within Charlotte. snow removal services at City-owned buildings, including but not limited to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) facilities, Solid Waste facilities, and various other Government buildings. Properties range in size from between approximately one-fourth acre to over four (4) acres of paved areas. For on-snow removal and ice removal services on an on call, as needed basis by either plowing, scrapping, plowing and apply deicing materials, or any combination as may be required to provide safe, clear and unobstructed foot and vehicle travel at City maintained facilities including, but not limited, to parking lots, parking decks, driveways, sidewalks, stairways, and, in some instances, building entrances. Work will be performed in response to requests made by the City’s Project Manager. All services require advance authorization. The Company will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, supervision and any other items necessary to perform snow removal services. Rental equipment and subcontracting of portions of the work without specific prior authorization will not be accepted.
