Description

The bridge is a 3 Span Continuous Steel Beam structure, 130’-0” long, skewed 12.5 degree, Rt., with 67.5 feet clear roadway. The end bents are supported on steel encased concrete piles. The piers are supported on concrete spread footings on untreated timber piles. This existing RC deck will be replaced with new deck with 5 lanes roadway, 8” RC slab, 7’-4” sidewalk on the north side and 10’-0” on the southside.The existing clear roadway will be narrowed on the south side to accommodate the wider sidewalk, but the removal of the median curb over the bridge will allow wider roadway across the bridge (64’-5” existing versus 64’-10” proposed).
