As of December 18 2023, this project is in final planning still. An architect has been selected for the project. Demolition for the project is underway. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start until after the new year *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Milford School District seeks professional Architectural / Engineering services for the construction/renovation of a 1,000 student middle school as detailed in the scope of services/project description of this RFP. Award will be contingent on project funding. The selected design firm(s) shall provide professional services not limited to: all planning, programming, consulting, architectural, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plumbing design, structural engineering, assist with bid documentation preparation, and construction administration necessary for the satisfactory completion of this project. Services must be in accordance with Federal, State, County and Local requirements. The Consultant must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities. The Milford School District reserves the right to select a vendor based on the written submissions or to establish vendor interviews for further evaluation and selection. As of October 31, 2023, the construction manager has been identified.
