Rappahannock General Hospital - Ed, Lobby, and Cafe Renovation

The work on this project consists of site work to include two exterior entrance canopies, a main entrance and a EMS drop off for the ED, an Air Gas liquid nitrogen tank pad, a 68’ brick entrance wall/sign, a decontamination holding tank, a new inground grease trap interceptor, rework of the driveway to both of the canopies and new landscaping within the renovation area. There is a new curtain wall addition of 910 sf. The interior renovation will be approximately 16,298 sf which will include the relocation of the Emergency Department, the hospital commercial kitchen, café serving and seating area, commercial freezer and coolers, as well as corridor, public and staff toilet renovations. The building is a 1-story Type I-2 Institutional structure. The structure is fully protected by a NFPA 13 system. The fire alarm equipment/devices are being updated prior to the work on this project.
