Description

Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project. The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment and proof of insurance required and necessary to complete the project as indicated on the drawings and as specified. Sale, delivery, and installation of three (3) 1,990 gallon below ground liquid propane gas tanks with anode bags and wire. Installation of a liquid propane gas line system into mechanical room to boilers. CONTRACTOR SCOPE OF WORK Delivery and setting of (3) 1,990 gallon below ground propane tanks with anode bags and wire in the front lawn of school. Tanks to be filled upon installation to prevent floating and aid in setting. Manifolding of the (3) 1,990-gallon tanks together for increased volume and equal fuel distribution. Installation of minimum 1-1/2" underground liquid propane gas lines. Underground piping shall be polyethylene plastic pipe. Underground piping shall be sleeved in well pipe with tracer tape and wire in trench from propane tanks to the corner of the school building near mechanical room doors. Saw cut through side-walk and any paved area from tanks' location to mechanical room at building. Installation of second stage low-pressure regulator (14" WC supply pressure) near boiler room entrance. Maintain minimum 5-foot clearance from the regulator relief discharge to the boiler room combustion air intake louver. Provide all vent relief piping per NFPA 58 requirements. Run new 3" dia. black pipe (steel A53 Gr B Sch 40) LP gas line along exterior of school from sidewalk gas line to mechanical room location. Cap off existing feed to water heater and hook up to the new line to new 3" LP Gas main - Terminate 3" main in boiler room with plug valve for future connection. Core drill through exterior wall to run gas lines into the mechanical room to future boilers. All related excavation (soil removal and sand deliveries) for tanks and gas lines. All sidewalk repairs required from saw cutting for gas line work. 24 hour pressure testing of all new gas lines and liquid propane gas connections. Installation of pressure regulators, venting, and gas line risers at tanks and building. Return for final connections of tanks, boilers, and gas lines upon town inspections approval.
