This is a request for quote for modular building painting at the USDA ARS in Hilo, HI. Please see the attached documents for important information and instructions on when and how to submit quotes along with site visit information. This is a total small business set-aside with a magnitude of between $25,000 and $100,000. All work shall be done in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions, drawings, statement of work (SOW) and other attachments set forth in the RFQ. IAW FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Completion shall be 90 days after issuance of the notice to proceed (NTP). Dept. of Labor General Decision #HI20230001 dated 7/28/2023 is applicable to this contract. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision, and transportation needed to complete exterior painting of modular buildings and landings. Delivery: 90 Days After Notice to Proceed. All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit (if held), must be submitted to Michael.Sherlock@usda.gov 11:00 a.m. PST, Thursday, August 24, 2023. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are not submitted by this deadline above may not receive a response. Questions/answers discussed at the site visit will not be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the solicitation by amendment. An organized site visit will not be conducted due to the nature of this project. Interested parties may request a site visit via the following procedures: For a site visit, we ask the following: The names of any visitors, and whether or not they are US citizens (if not, they should bring a passport) All visitors must not have had any avian contact for the preceding seven days prior to the visit. All visitors must be prepared to wear a mask at all times indoors, or outdoors when within 6 feet of any other person if local authorities issue a mandate. All individuals interested in attending the site visit should pre-register by emailing Pernell.Hanoa@usda.gov and Michael.Sherlock@usda.gov with a list of names of attendees and two or three time/date options. This is necessary to ensure that the site is prepared for the number of visitors expected.
