| Description | This project will consist of installation of a new Mechanical Oxidation Ditch Rotor/Aerator. The aerator that is being replaced is a horizontal brush type, 27’ long with 52 brush assemblies. The work will consist of the following: 1. Removal of existing torsion coupling from the existing Flender gearbox. 2. Preparation of the concrete openings for mounting the outboard bearing and wall plates/seals. 3. Installation of rotor body assembly with blades and splash guards. 4. Installation of a new outboard bearing. 5. Installation of a new torsion coupling. 6. Installation of two wall assemblies and all related seals. 7. Reinstall existing Flender gearbox. 8. Reinstall existing motor and belts. 9. Check wall seals for proper adjustment and leakage. |
