Roof Removal and Replacement at Fire Stations 3, 4, and 9

Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid must be uploaded prior to the hour and the date stated above. Bid Security in the form of a Cashier check or Certified check must be submitted to the Purchasing Manager, at 3900 Main Street, Riverside, CA 92522, prior to the hour and the date stated above. Bid prices shall be firm for 90 days from date of proposal opening to permit staff evaluation and City Council award. Upon award, prices quoted will be in effect for the term of the contract. The City Council reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The scope of work will take place in and around a fully operational Fire Stations. The performance of the proposed work cannot impede on the ability of the Fire Crews to respond to calls. Provisions will need to be made with Fire Crews on a daily basis to keep the Fire Station fully functional at all times. The City of Riverside General Services Department has determined bidders shall hold a valid Class "C-39 - Roofing Contractor" or a Class "B-General Building Contractor" State of California Contractor's license in good standing. All bidders and sub-bidders will be required to comply fully with the following: 1) City of Riverside Resolution No. 13346, and subsequent amendments thereto specifying the current prevailing rate of per diem wages for each craft, classification or type of workman, which schedules are on file in the State of California web site address Successful bidder will obtain City of Riverside Business Tax Certificate, if they do not already hold one.
