Description

This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal Laws and regulations associated with that program. Project will be constructed under a Single Prime Contract. Bids shall be based on a "stipulated sum" basis in full accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by CSO, 8831 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, IN 46240. Bids shall be executed on Indiana State Form 96 and Supplementary Proposal Form included in the Project Manual. Bids shall be accompanied by Contractor's Financial Statement specific enough and in such detail so that the Owner can make a proper determination of the Bidder's capability for completing the Project if awarded. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the total bid price and made payable to the Owner. Should Bidder withdraw his bid within 60 days from bid opening date without written consent of the Owner, or fail to execute a satisfactory contract with the Owner, the Owner may declare the bid security forfeited as liquidated damages. Prior to execution of the Contract, Bidder shall furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum. Bonds shall remain in full force and effect for 12 months from date of acceptance of the work. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Prime Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents from Eastern Engineering, Fishers, Indiana by any of the following methods: Bidders shall state completion time in number of calendar days need to complete the Scope of Work described, along with their bid. Anticipate construction starting on February 13, 2023. Substantial Completion must be achieved on or before June 2, 2024 (476 calendar days, maximum). Bidders must be prequalified by Owner. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
