| Description | Pless Place 19/20 Timber Sale. This sale is a marked thinning of 453 acres of natural pine timber from Withlacoochee State Forest in Hernando County, Florida (see attached maps). Timber available for harvest includes all blue marked pine timber within sale boundary. The sale boundary is designated by roads, distinct stand type changes, or orange paint. All pine timber marked with orange paint is excluded from the sale and shall NOT be harvested. Estimated volumes to be removed includes 6,443 tons of pine pulpwood, 2,083 tons of chip-n-saw, and 3,162 tons of sawtimber. This will be an eighteen (18) month contract. Bidders should satisfy themselves as to the volume of timber present and the product separation. |
