Description | Demolition, site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Waimanalo, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility. Demolition of Existing Buildings and Construction of New. Direct all questions regarding this Solicitation, and any questions or Issues relating to the accessibility of this Solicitation (Including the appendices and exhibits to this Document, and any other document related to this Solicitation), to: Fujimoto, Janice. The Department of Land and Natural Resources Interim General Condition, dated October 1994, as amended, and the General Conditions - AG008, latest revision shall be made part of the specifications. The project is located at 41-645 Mokulama Street, Waimanalo, Oahu, Hawaii. The Existing conditions are generally described as follows: 1. The existing site consists of 3 buildings - Office, Shed, Maintenance and an on-site septic waste system 2. The Office Building is wood-framed, concrete slab-on-grade which will be demolished in its entirety. 3. The Shed Building is wood-framed, concrete slab-on-grade and is used primarily for storage and has a restroom and locker room. The structure above grade will be demolished down to the slab which will remain and reused as parking. 4. The Maintenance Building is wood-framed, concrete slab-on-grade and is used to house the backhoe/trailer and ATV and a limited amount of fuel for grass cutting tools (not for ATV or backhoe). This space is also used for repairs/welding. This building will be demolished in its entirety. The New work shall generally consist the following and as described in the drawings and specifications.: 1. Site - Grading, parking and driveway, septic waste system 2. Office Building - wood-framed, concrete slab-on-grade, ADA accessible ramp, restroom/shower, office, and conference room. 3. Maintenance Building - CMU, concrete slab-on-grade, wood truss roof. 1. Shed - Existing concrete slab-on-grade to remain, patch, prepare, finish for use as parking. Due to the nature of work contemplated, bidders must possess a valid State Contractor's license, classification "A".
