SIMP & Sanitary Lateral Replacements, Shiras Drive Upgrade And Newberry Street Upgrade

This project consists of the replacement of miscellaneous sanitary sewer laterals on various streets throughout the City, miscellaneous sanitary sewer main point repairs, preparing the existing pavement and constructing HMA pavements, which includes cold-milling, pavement/existing base and subbase removal, structure cover adjustment, curb work, HMA pavement and base placement, shoulder placement, crushing and shaping sections of roads in Shiras Hills, multi-use path replacement and overband crack filling. Restoration of all disturbed lawn and grassy areas is included. The Shiras Drive and Newberry Street upgrades will consist of roadway reconstruction and utility replacement. Utility work will include replacement of water main, water main appurtenances, water services, storm sewer, and their appurtenances. Roadway work will include earth excavation, embankment, subbase modified, aggregate, HMA, curbing, traffic control (temporary and permanent), landscaping, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the contract.
