Fire Alarm Cabling

The Municipal Fire Alarm System currently contains 15 box circuits and six station circuits. Circuit 15 contains properties from Trafalgar Square at Amherst St northerly to the Merrimack town line. The number of fire alarm boxes on Circuit 15 have grown to exceed the recommended number on one circuit. A new and distinct pathway across the Nashua River separate from previous circuits is available and additional circuits and redundancies to be installed in this project. Circuit 12 contains only one highway crossing with no spare or additional conductor and a pathway exists crossing the highway and will allow for additional circuits and redundancies to be installed in this project. The materials and hardware are purchased by the City of Nashua and we seek proposals from experienced, qualified and local firms (100-mile radius) with providing installation of a cabling aerially and underground on identified pathways.
