| Description | The structural concrete repair work at the concrete walkways generally includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Rout all noted cracks within the concrete surface 2. Install new sealant at all routed cracks per manufacturer’s instructions 3. Prepare existing tread and riser system for repair a. Remove loose concrete to sound material b. Remove corrosion and scale from steel reinforcement, repairing as necessary c. Refer to details for additional information on exposing and undercutting rebar, edge and surface conditioning, and reinforcement repair 4. Install new patch material to existing tread and riser system a. Concrete substrate to remain shall be surface saturated dry (SSD) at time of new patch material placement b. New concrete profile shall match existing tread and riser system |
