| Description | Project # 541-18-104: Replace Air Handling Unit AC 17 and AC 18. The goal of the project is to replace the Air Handling Unit AC-17 and AC-18 that serves floors 2 through 6 of the main medical center. The project repairs/replaces the main ducts and the duct shaft. The project addresses identified mechanical condition and security gaps and compliance by complying with VA design guidelines. The project will also verify branch lines to determine capacity of new HVAC units. All plant labor, equipment, materials and incidentals shall be furnished by the Contractor. The Contractor shall perform all work in a manner that will maintain the safe usage of adjacent space for patients, staff and visitors to the Cleveland VAMC at all times. All OSHA and NFPA codes shall be followed. |
