RFP- New Siding Installation

**As of May 23 2023, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Tuscola County will be accepting bids on the installation of new vinyl siding at the County Adult Probation Building at 449 Wells ST Caro MI 48723. The following specifications shall be considered in your bid: A. Contractor shall be responsible for any needed permits. B. Contractor shall field measure the building before bidding. C. There are approximately 45 square of siding. D. Contractor shall replace any deteriorated exterior wood including soffits and fascia. E. Existing T-111 can remain. Any deteriorated T-111 shall be replaced. Plywood is acceptable. F. Siding shall be 6 inch Craneboard Solid Core, including trim. Corners, etc. G. Window trim shall be 3.5 inch Lineal. H. Window casings shall be vinyl also. I. Corners shall be 5.5 inch corner post. J. Winning bidder to provide color samples. K. All work is to be completed by qualified personnel L. Contractor shall be insured and provide copy of liability insurance and workmen's comp. M. Contractor shall clean up all debris from the jobsite and dispose of in a proper manner following Federal, State and Local rules and laws. Please call 989-672-3756 if you have questions.
