Highway Garage Repair

It is the intent of these specifications to describe fixing the damage to the rear overhead door and building wall of the Town of Halfmoon Highway Garage located at 322 NY-146. This work includes removal of the existing overhead door, damaged metal walls, and door header trim. This work requires the installation of a new metal wall system with insulation, an overhead door, and removal and resetting of the overhead door jamb trim cap and gable and rake trim. INTEGRATION: New metal wall system shall be the same style and color as the original manufactured by Varco-Pruden Buildings. ELECTRICAL: Remove electrical supply to overhead door operator and install new electrical supply to new overhead door operator. OVERHEAD DOOR: Remove overhead door, springs, and upper tracks and furnish and install a new 20’ x 16’ overhead door with struts, track, hardware, springs, and operator. METAL WALL SYSTEM: Remove and install a new exterior wall system that includes 4” batt insulation. Remove and install wall purlins including nuts, bolts, washers, and steel angles. HEADER/TRIM: Remove and reset gable, rake, and overhead door jamb trim, and remove and replace overhead door header trim.
