Description | The funding source for this project is State Revolving Fund. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, South Foster Park Wet Weather Pump Station as follows: Construction of new South Foster Park Wet Weather Pump Station which includes a 32-MGD pump station, 72-MGD pump station, electrical building, piping improvements, and site work. all in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by ARCADIS U.S., Inc.. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. The Indiana State Revolving Fund Loan Program (SRF) has a goal for utilization of qualified Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) as subcontractors on SRF projects is 7% MBE and 5% WBE of the Contract Price. 11.06 The City of Fort Wayne's goal for utilization of qualified Emerging Business Enterprises (EBE) as subcontractors on City projects is 10% of the Contract Price. It has been determined that the EBE goal for THIS PROJECT is 10% of the Contract Price. If SRF funded, 11.05 takes precedence 11.06 is secondary Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Design Manager in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Design Manager in response to such questions will be issued by the issuing office (herein QuestCDN) to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. The engineers estimate for this project is 10,000,000.00 |
