Description

Extended natural gas facilities to an existing asphalt plant site near Gold Rock, NC. The city is seeking a qualified contractor to design, fabricate, and install the meter and regulator station at the following location: 7526 N Halifax Road, Battleboro, NC 27809 The meter and regulator station must be able to tie-in to an existing 6” steel riser and contain the following components: 1. Upstream valve. 2. T-strainer filter. 3. Pressure gauge points (3). 4. Two-meter test points (1 upstream, 1 downstream of meter). 5. Meter capable of providing 135,000 CFH: a. minimum inlet pressure = 40psig. b. maximum inlet pressure = 60 psig; c. rotary meter preferable, will consider turbine. 6. Meter bypass with valves; bypass must be able to accommodate flow for max load. 7. Dual regulators set up in worker/monitor layout; a. design inlet pressure = 40psig; b. max inlet pressure = 60 psig; c. service pressure = 25 psig. 8. Relief valve. 9. Downstream Service valve. 10. Painted. 11. Station can be skid-mounted or assembled onsite.
