Description | Renovation, New Storm Chamber System and New Service Building Project Request for Information (RFI) Deadline 10/19 Owner Questions to GC Submission 11/08 GC Response to Owner Questions 11/10 Notice of Intent to Award Contract 11/14 Expected Contract Execution Date 11/18 BW Real Estate Holdings, LLC (Owner) issues this Request for Proposals (RFP) for General Contractor (GC) Services for the Boater's World Bradenton Facility from qualified business entities (Proposer) with expertise in General Contracting services, specifically in the construction of metal buildings, renovations during active facilities, sitework and underground utilities. Awarded GC will be required to enter into an AIA Contract which is further explained in RFP Section 6 4.1. Sitework with significant earthwork, underground utilities, and storm chamber system 4.1.1. The Owner would like to determine if phasing the site is possible so that boats can be stored in portions of the back lot. This will be a discussion point during the interview process. 4.2. Relocating (4) existing carports 4.2.1. Contact SBS Steel Buildings & Structures for relocation cost. Permitting costs, if required for relocation, to be covered by the GC. All other permitting costs to be covered by the Owner. 4.2.1.1. SBS contact: fgarcia@sbsihq.com, 336-367-6600 4.2.1.2. Permit #s: 213284 4.3. Minor renovations to the existing facility 4.3.1. Renovation of the existing building will be permitted separately and should be completed as soon as possible. 4.4. New 8,750 GSF Service Building 4.4.1. The Owner is in contract with the metal building supplier/erector. Metal building has been procured and is currently being staged on the East side of the property, refer to Exhibit H for location.
