Mount Vernon Road Bridge Water Main Repair

Scope: Work shall include but is not limited to the use of trenchless technology to repair the existing 12” steel water main suspended under the Mt. Vernon Road bridge over I-20 in Douglas County. The Authority will consider repair solutions that include installing a liner or pipe system inside the existing pipe in such a manner that the existing pipe is not replaced, moved, or removed from the bridge structure. The water main to be repaired is a 12-inch welded steel main with a length of approximately 350 linear feet, which extends behind the abutment on both the North and South ends of the bridge.
