Description of Work: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement to provide water, sewer, and electrical utilities to a new collaboration space, 20'x52' modular building, outside of building 1246. The entire scope of this project is indicated in the associated specification and on the associated drawing set. In summary, the Contractor shall: confirm the locations of existing underground utilities and structures in the project area using ground penetrating radar; excavate the water and sewer lines at the tap area locations; excavate and provide and install all materials required for new water, sewer, and electric trenches; provide and install all new materials required for water, sewer, and electric service to the new collaboration space from the connection points of the existing utilities; provide and install all materials required for a new exterior power/data/comms concrete slab near the new collaboration space; backfill all trenches as specified.
