Street Improvements: Calloway Drive, Between Olive Drive and Norris Road

The work to be performed consists, in general, of widening the east side of Calloway Drive between Lake Superior Drive and Norris Road. Existing traffic striping and pavement markings shall be modified on the east side of the roadway, from Galleria Way to approximately 440 feet north of Norris Road. The street widening includes, removal of existing concrete curbs, stumps, old-topped utility pole; removing existing trees and shrubs; modifying existing traffic signal and lighting system on the southeast corner of Calloway Drive and Norris Road; modifying existing landscaping and landscape irrigation systems; modifying existing fencing; resetting mailboxes; sawcutting and removing existing hot mix asphalt; roadway excavation; clearing and grubbing; relocating existing roadside signs; constructing type “B” curb and gutter; constructing drive approaches and tie-ins; installing sidewalk and ADA Case A curb ramp; constructing type “A” hot mix asphalt pavement; modifying vehicle detection loops.
