Description | An Addendum #002 has been uploaded for the project and you will need to access it accordingly. They are offering a 2nd chance for a site visit, so if you want to go I need you to fill in the base access forms and send to me before today @ 12:00 PM - NO EXCEPTIONS Provide all supervision, materials, tools, labor, and equipment to accomplish the work described in this specification and drawings. Work includes but is not necessarily limited to: A. Replace existing 1980's era Exterior Insulating Finish System (EIFS) with new water-managed EIFS. 1) New system shall have maximum U-value of 0.062. 2) Replace water damaged batt insulation within wall cavity. 3) Repair or replace light gauge framing as required for control of corrosion. USCG estimates that roughly 1,300 linear feet of existing light gauge framing and steel elements require repair and /or corrosion mitigation efforts. 4) Temporarily remove existing doors/windows and other items in order to provide proper flashing of new EIF System. B. Replace existing composite roof (insulated stone over asphaltic sheet) with 60 mil. PVC membrane roof. 1) Add rigid insulation to achieve minimum R-24 for roof system. 2) Modify existing parapets to receive coping cap. 3) Provide functional commissioning for existing roof equipment, including solar array prior to beneficial occupancy. C. Replace existing metal roof with standing seam metal roof. 1) Add insulation to achieve minimum R-24 for roof system. D. Replace broken skylight panes with new. E. Prior to taking action or if in doubt, clarify intent with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). F. Ensure these actions are QA/QC. 1.02 LOCATION: Project site is located at U.S. Coast Guard Training Center (TRACEN) Petaluma, Building 544 Bauer, Petaluma, CA. |
