Description

The City of Carrollton is soliciting requests for proposals from interested vendors to provide the City with alley improvements throughout the City. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 8/3/2022 10:00:00 AM (ET) Bidders shall have performed similar scope of work within the past year. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding local conditions and conditions under which the work is to be done. Attention is called to the provisions of the Acts of the 43rd Legislature of the State of Texas and subsequent amendments concerning the wage scale and payment of prevailing wages specified. Prevailing wage rate will be established by the City of Carrollton for this project. All bidders must comply with the rules and regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The time of completion is of the essence of this contract. Unless otherwise specified in these contract documents or advised by written order of the Owner, the Contractor shall begin work within 10 days after the date of contract. The work shall be prosecuted to completion in accordance with the schedule provided for below and shall be 100% completed within 450 Calendar Days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated a n n u a l budget for this work is approximately $1,500,000.00. The city reserves the right to increase or decrease this amount either prior to the approval by City Council or after approval through change orders. A A bid bond (on city form) and or a cashier's check must be provided of all responders in the amount of 5% of your total bid. The awarded vendor must submit the required bond within 10 days (no later than 14 days) of the bid award and request for bonds notification letter.
