Description

The library is approximately 84,000 sq. ft. and is located at 99 Clinton Street in Schenectady. The intent is to improve indoor air quality through the replacement of old air handlers and the addition of UV germicidal light technology to existing fan coil units in the library. The current air handling system is located in the basement of the KBJ Library which consists of three large air handlers connected to a multi-stack chiller assembly and a BAC Cooling Tower. In addition, there are mini-split units and a large RTU over the children s addition that will require the addition of a UV Tubular Rack system and mini-split UV LED strip lighting.
