Greeley Fishing Pond Remedial Action Plan Implementation and Vegetative Soil

The Work consists of, in general, construction of a minimum two-feet thick soil cap, an 8-ounce per square yard non-woven geotextile warning barrier, dimensional lumber cedar fencing and an aggregate surface course access road at the Greeley Fishing Pond facility located near Greeley, Colorado. A ditch exists on the south side of the site near active overhead power lines. The poles supporting these power lines have been ballasted with concrete that may have black mastic on it containing ACM. In areas where ACM concrete is located throughout the site, contractor will have to selectively pick and remove this material. A Terracon CABI will visually inspect this material for the mastic. Mastic containing concrete will be disposed of offsite as potentially asbestos containing material (PACM) or used onsite to fill low points under the proposed cover construction area.
