Description | The general location of the project: Portions of Sections 5 & 8, Township 15 North, Range 10 West, W.M., Grays Harbor County, Washington. This project is a prevailing wage public works project. Successful bidder will be expected to pay all workers the required prevailing rate of pay no less than the rate of pay as of July 20, 2022 in Grays Harbor County Washington for the specific job classifications per WAC 296- 127-01328. All bids must include a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid proposal made payable to the Grays Harbor County Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Grays Harbor County. All prospective bidders are encouraged to obtain this information and inspect the construction area on the ground prior to submitting a quote. Grays Harbor County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award. Award will be made to the lowest and/or best bidder. The Grays Harbor County Forestry Department expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, without cause. |
