Description

Contractor shall perform canal maintenance on canal “D”, “D-1”, “F,” as shown on Attachment H, I, and J, respectively. The total length of Canal “D”, “D-1”, and “F” is estimated at 31,881 (+/-) linear feet (LF), including wetlands, which will not require maintenance. Canal maintenance is not to be performed in wetlands. Wetlands, as identified by the wetland inventory map from the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), exist within the project area and can be found in attachment G. a. Approximate Length of Canal D(including wetlands)= 8,195 (+/-) b. Approximate Length of Canal D-1(including wetlands)= 5,413 (+/-) c. Approximate Length of Canal F(including wetlands)= 18,273 (+/-) Canal Spraying Location and Length – The contractor is to perform canal spraying on canal C between the limits shown on Attachment A. The total length of canal to be sprayed is estimated at 15,980 (+/-) linear feet (LF). No additional compensation will be made towards the lump sum quantity if the length is found to vary. No wetlands, as identified by the wetland inventory map from the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) exist within the project area. No additional compensation will be made towards the lump sum quantity if the length is found to vary. The area of spraying starts at Big Gant Lake and Ends at the south side of CR- 721. (both banks of the canal are considered in 1 linear foot of measurement). Canal C = 15,980 (+/-) LF Canal maintenance is not to be performed in wetlands. Budget: a) 2020 - $268,800 b) 2021 potential contract extension $340,000; c) 2022 potential contract extension $29,000
