Maintenance and Service of SBU Prevention Equipment

These services may include but are not limited to the maintenance and service of sewage ejector pumps, indoor and outdoor sewage grinder pumps, various storm water pumps and flood-gate automatic backwater valve systems. This service shall also include an inspection of the entire water prevention system to include digital photos of the systems condition before and after the service call, inspection of all visible ·seals, gaskets and system alarm panels along with checking the pump or backwater valve for proper operation. The cleaning and removal of debris or grease that may be found in the pump basin along with the checking of proper float setting and operation for both the pump and the alarm. The contractor shall also be responsible for contacting the homeowner/resident to schedule the initial service call along with any that may require additional visits.

Division 44 -	Pollution and Waste Control Equipment, Water Pollution Control Equipment.
