Description | Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) Bayonne Branch Security CCTV Camera Upgrade - supplying cameras and installation of cameras at Hudson Bergen Light Rail 8th Street, 22nd Street, 34th Street and 45th Street Stations (Bayonne Branch). The term of the Contract is six (6) months from issuance of NJ TRANSIT Purchase Order. Remove all cameras, mounts and North American Video Technologies equipment from platform, electrical room and sub-station and dispose all the equipment. o Supply and install cameras, mounts and transmission equipment with equipment specified by NJ TRANSIT personnel. o Supply and install elevator camera and coax converter equipment specified by NJ TRANSIT personnel. o Supply and Install APC surge suppression equipment. o Supply and install Comnet equipment in electrical room. o Supply and install Comnet equipment in sub-station. o Test, tag and utilize two (2) pairs of Cat 3 cabling from electrical room to sub-station. o Supply and install twenty-two (22) 128GB SD cards into cameras. o Supply and install all necessary Category 5e patch cords. Late bids cannot be accepted. This is the only way to submit a bid for this project; paper bids will not be accepted. The work under this Invitation for Bid (IFB) generally consists of but is not limited to supplying cameras and installation of cameras at Hudson Bergen Light Rail 8th Street, 22nd Street, 34th Street and 45th Street Stations (Bayonne Branch). NJ TRANSIT intends to award a contract for a firm fixed price to the responsible bidder whose Bid conforms to the Invitation for Bid and offers the best value to NJ TRANSIT. Upon confirmation of your firm's RSVP, NJ TRANSIT will forward an invitation for the video conference. Contractors and subcontractors are also required to comply with the State of New Jersey, Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services Business Registration Certificate requirements (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44). Contractors or Subcontractors shall not engage in the performance of any work, unless the Contractor or Subcontractor is registered with the Department of Treasury Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services, as required. In addition, the requirements of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.14 et seq. apply to this project. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, regarding Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations. NJ TRANSIT requires bidders utilizing Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subcontractors/vendors/suppliers to comply with all aspects of NJ TRANSIT's DBE Program in the use of DBE's. This is a Race-Neutral project.
