Window Replacement and Associated Work at the Kennett High School

The project’s scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Remove and dispose of existing fiberglass window systems and associated hardware at designated openings including all glass, fasteners, flashings, sealants, clips, jamb and column covers, and wood blocking. Furnish and install new thermally broken aluminum windows, subsills, receptors and associated components including, but not limited to, wood blocking, modified bituminous flashing, sheet metal flashing, and 2-piece attachment angle. As indicated in the bid documents, the intent of the project is for window replacement to occur during two (2) phases. Phase 1 will include select window replacement at locations indicated in the contract documents in the Fall of 2021, and Phase 2 will include the remaining window replacement at locations indicated in the contract documents in the Summer of 2022.
