Lyman T. Johnson Traditional Middle School Phase 1 HVAC Renovation

Jefferson County Public Schools will receive sealed bids and award contract(s) for: PHASE I HVAC RENOVATION AT JOHNSON TRADITIONAL MIDDLE SCHOOL, Louisville, KY. JCPS Board of Education has established goals and good faith effort of 15% participation for Minority Business Enterprises, and 10% for Women Business Enterprises in all construction contracting. JCPS reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Primary Scope Oe Work Eor This Project is to Replace the Hvac Systems Throughout the Building. System Upgrades Include New Boilers, Chillers, and Associated Pumps. A New Electrical Service Will Be Provided Along With New Light Eixtures and the Associated Electrical System Renovations Required Eor the Mechanical Systems Upgrade. Other Electrical System Upgrades Include an Emergency Generator Replacement, Intercom, Security, and Eire Alarm Upgrades. The Architectural Scope Oe Work Includes Elooring Upgrades, a Reconfiguration Oe Various Interior Spaces, the Addition Oe an Exterior Accessible Ramp and Repairs to the Central Plant Rooe Structure. The Architectural Work Also Includes a Complete Ceiling Replacement, Partial Energy Efficient Windows Replacement and Other Miscellaneous Work to Accommodate the New Hvac System. 014-200, VJJM21 Addendum #1-#2 have been issued as of 1-12-2023.
